Overcoming Estrogen Dominance focuses deeply on estrogen dominance conditions and goes into specific protocols for each condition that entails nutrition, herbal and supplement solutions. Cooking for Hormone Balance covers a broader range of hormonal conditions including hypothyroidism/Hashimoto’s, menopause, PCOS as well as estrogen dominance. However, it’s not as in-depth and offers no protocols for fibrocystic breasts, fibroids, etc. Both the books have great recipes but they are different.
Overcoming Estrogen Dominance, the book, was inspired by Estrogen Reset, the online program. This means that some of the content is the same. The book is more current in terms of research and new techniques we learned and added over time. The recipes are also completely new and different, although they share the same level of easy, speedy preparations, and use of few and readily-available ingredients. We also felt that creating a book would have a wider appeal to women who prefer to read a physical book and “have something physical to hold” versus watching online classes.

Overcoming Estrogen Dominance

After reading this I feel so much more in control of my body and mind, My mum died from an Estrogen based cancer, I knew I had Estrogen dominance and didn’t really know what to do. Now with the information in this book I feel in control and understand my body, No black cloud following me anymore.

I am going through all the health information and finding it more involved than the original Cooking for Hormones Balance book. I was disappointed it wasn’t a hard cover like the older book.
